President
Bonnie D'Arcangelo
Bonnie Beth D’Arcangelo is the founder and President of Michigan Protects. She created Michigan Protects out of a love and passion for herbal medicine and a desire to ensure the future survival of our wild medicinal plants here in Michigan.
She is also a Holistic Health Consultant and Master Herbalist at Veusebia Phytoptherapy Center and holds a Master’s Degree in Herbal Medicine. She is a Certified Dietary Supplement Provider (CDSP) by the NANP, and a certified Aromatherapist (NAHA). She also has a micro-credential in Functional Blood Analysis. Her work brings in the principles of holistic wellness coaching with guidance on proper supplementation and herbal medicine to help support your health goals. She is also the co-owner of AEtherbal, an herbal topical company that creates topicals for “What Ails You.”
Vice President
Michael D'Acrangelo
Michael D’Arcangelo is a botanist, scientist, researcher, and alchemist who has spent his life developing healing modalities based on orthosilicic acid and horticulture research. He has worked extensively on plant breeding and with biodynamic preparations and farming. He studied with Huge Courtney at Earth Legacy Agriculture where he learned how to make biodynamic preparations and has continued to develop these preparations to further the original work of Rudolf Steiner. He later advanced these techniques into the realm of plasma physiology and applied them to further herbal medicine. A long-time proponent of holistic health Michael is continuing to work on developing new ways of delivering herbal medicine into the body that provides groundbreaking innovations in health.
Secretary
Eric Bedell
Eric Bedell is a utility arborist, horticulturist, data analyst, musician and voice over artist. Spending his whole career devoted to plants and their care, he feels an innate connection to nature. In addition to playing guitar and appearing in several local bands, his hobbies include hiking, kayaking and exploring nature with his wife, daughter and dog.
With Michigan Protects, he aims to not only aid in the preservation of native medicinal plants, but to learn and grow along with them.
Treasurer
Joey Catalano
Joey Catalano is an Actor, Director, Writer, Film Maker, Model, Researcher and Plant and Wildlife conservationist.
From the time of his childhood he has advocated for plant and wildlife and continues to do so at Michigan Protects. Joey has studied Acting and Film Making over a span of fifteen years and has mastered many techniques, such as the Art of Stillness. He strives to transcend his works and personal life into protecting plant life, understanding the prominence and Universal reach that plants have on our health and day to day activities.
